Even the most striking architecture relies on what is hidden behind walls and above ceilings for real quality and safety. At Timtek Engineering, we place international standards at the centre of the two most critical mechanical disciplines—fire protection and plumbing.
1. Fire protection: engineering against the clock
Fire systems are designed hoping they are never needed—yet they must perform at 100% when it matters. There is effectively zero tolerance for design error.
-
Sprinkler systems: Detecting and suppressing fire in its early stage is one of the most effective life-safety measures in large buildings.
-
Fire cabinets and hydrants: High-pressure water paths for trained staff or fire brigade intervention, indoors and on site.
-
Hydrophores and pump groups: Redundant pumping that maintains pressure even during power events, aligned with local regulations.
2. Plumbing: water supply and drainage
Water management is more than opening a tap—it is engineering for efficiency and hygiene in modern buildings.
-
Filtration and treatment: Softening and filtration integrated so water is kind to fixtures and occupants.
-
Waste and soil stacks: Acoustic pipework and venting details that prevent noise and odour issues.
-
Domestic hot water: Circulation loops coordinated with central heating for reliable hot water at the tap.
3. Engineering ethics and a “zero-error” policy
Mistakes in fire and plumbing are among the costliest to fix after handover. Led by Eren Timurhan, the Timtek team has, since 2012, applied an accuracy-first approach from budgeting through commissioning.
4. Service life and maintenance
We design systems to perform for decades, not only on opening day. After delivery we remain available with technical support and periodic inspection guidance.
